What we keep when you join Silicon Wok, why, and how to leave.
This is how Silicon Wok handles your details when you join. It is short because we keep very little.
What we keep
When you join, we keep three things:
- Your name, if you gave one.
- Your email address.
- Your choices: whether you support the Saving our Hawker Heritage Plan, would like to volunteer, or want news.
Ghost, the platform that runs this site, also records when you joined. Our emails may count opens and clicks.
Why we keep it
To send you news of the Library, the Plan and the game, and to count our supporters. That is all we use it for.
Who sees it
We never sell or share it. Ghost hosts this site and holds your details for us. It sends our emails, too. Nobody else gets them.
Leaving
Every email has an unsubscribe link. It works in one click.
To have your details deleted altogether, email [email protected]. We will delete them and tell you when it is done.
